Many of the concepts related to diabetes are highly complex. This new curriculum is designed specifically with kids in mind. The images and language are simple and the lessons focus just on what kids need to know. It's still in the development stage, but be on the lookout for the first phase of the release in Summer 2023.
About T1DKids
T1DKids is a comprehensive diabetes education curriculum specifically designed for children ages 5 through 12. It focuses on what kids need to know about type 1 and helps them learn how to navigate the world of diabetes. Centered around a colorfully illustrated workbook, this collection of resources, activities, and games was created to make the diabetes education process both entertaining and informative. And of course, all of the resources are completely free, forever.
Interactive Resources
Designed with fun in mind, this curriculum contains dozens of games, challenges, and other fun activities to help make learning interesting. Plus, enjoy playing online video games that incorporate diabetes education topics such as managing blood sugars, exercise, and proper nutrition.
How it Works
This curriculum features a combination of online and printable resources to help students learn about type 1 diabetes, and all of the resources are available to you all the time, so you can choose when (or even what) you want to learn. Find everything that you need to get started below!

Living with type 1 is hard, especially if diagnosed at a young age, so having a comprehensive and accurate diabetes education is essential to living a long and healthy life. This curriculum pulls information from hundreds of hospitals, doctors, and organizations to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date picture on how to live and thrive with type 1.
